We are honored to introduce Prof. Dr. M.S. Ashawat, a distinguished academician, researcher, and education leader currently serving as Professor and Principal at Laureate Institute of Pharmacy, Jawalaji, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, India.Dr. Ashawat completed his M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics from Dr. H.S. Gaur University, Sagar (M.P.) in 1999. Soon after completing his postgraduate studies, he began his academic career at B.R. Nahata College of Pharmacy, Mandsaur (M.P.), where he developed strong practical teaching methodologies and delivered lectures in several core pharmaceutical subjects.Known for his innovative teaching approach, Dr. Ashawat introduced illustration-based and comic-based demonstrations to simplify complex pharmaceutical concepts for students. His commitment to improving pharmacy education helped create an engaging and skill-oriented learning environment.In 2003, he joined B.N. Girls’ Pharmacy College, Rajasthan, a premier women’s educational institute, where he served as faculty and was later promoted to Associate Professor in 2006. During his tenure, he also served as PG Course Co-Coordinator (2008–2010) and played a vital role in developing academic programs and outdoor learning activities for undergraduate students.Dr. Ashawat completed his Ph.D. from Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur (Chhattisgarh) in 2008. Later, he also served as Ph.D. Course Co-Coordinator at Pacific University, Udaipur (2010–2011), contributing to the development of doctoral research programs.Currently, he is actively associated with Himachal Pradesh Technical University as a Member of the Board of Studies and several academic scrutiny committees, where he contributes to curriculum development and academic quality enhancement.

We are honored to introduce Dr. Rohit Bhatia, a highly accomplished academician and researcher, who brings with him over 12 years of rich experience in the fields of academics, research, and administration.
Dr. Bhatia holds deep expertise in Medicinal Chemistry, Computer-Aided Drug Designing (CADD), and Bioanalysis, with focused research interests in anticancer drug discovery and paper-based microfluidic systems. His passion for impactful research has led to the publication of over 140 research and review articles in reputed national and international journals, along with 10+ book chapters and five authored books to his credit.
As a dedicated mentor, Dr. Bhatia has guided 32 postgraduate students and 6 Ph.D. scholars, playing a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of pharmaceutical scientists. He has also delivered more than 12 guest lectures at renowned national and international platforms, sharing his knowledge and research insights with diverse academic communities.
He has successfully qualified the GPAT examination four times, showcasing his consistent academic excellence. Dr. Bhatia also holds 12 patents granted by the Government of India, reflecting his commitment to innovation and real-world application of research. Notably, he recently received a research grant of ₹20 lakhs from MSME, India, for developing a point-of-care diagnostic device for non-invasive glucose detection in human saliva.
Dr. Bhatia’s contributions extend globally. He has been honored as the Brand Ambassador of Bentham Science (2019 & 2024), serves as a reviewer for several reputed international journals, and is a two-time recipient of the Young Scientist Award at prestigious international platforms.
